The Camden Bulldog Club will award $500.00 scholarships to two graduating seniors. Applicants must have played a varsity sport for at least one year at Camden High and must be enrolled in a four or two year school in the fall semester 2010. Click to view the application.

CHS Girls Soccer Opens Season With 2-0 Win

The CHS girls varsity soccer team opened the 2010 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Andrew Jackson last Tuesday night. The Lady Dogs prevailed despite playing what coach Stephen Sutusky called a "timid" first half.

India Robinson scored the game's first goal 25 minutes into the event and Cierra McShine scored the insurance goal with some 20 minutes remaining in the second half. Lauren Geddings had five saves and Carrie Stokes played well defensively.

CHS Wrestlers Earn Post-Season Honors

The 2009-2010 High School wrestling season is over and two CHS wrestlers have qualified for the AAA State Wrestling Tournament. Jeremy Huggins has made the tourney at 145 pounds and Brayan Mendez has qualified at 160 pounds. Huggins sports a 25-14 individual record this season and Mendez is 33-8 overall. Both Huggins and Mendez are also region champions in their classes as well.

Being named to the Region VI-AAA team in addition to Huggins and Mendez were Travis Jordan, Markeis Miller, Nathan Branham, DeAundre Rose, JeDarius Hayes, and Roland Matthews.

CHS Basketball Replay on TruVista Channel 39

As spring approaches, KM Video Productions of Camden is gearing up for another year of broadcasting CHS Baseball on TruVista Cable Channel 39. Broadcast and game info can be found by logging on to www.kmvideoproductions.com.

Paint a Camden "C" On Your Driveway

Want to show your Bulldog Pride? Well the Bulldog Spirit Club has one way as we approach Rivalry Week next week. The Spirit Club is painting Camden "C's" on driveways. The cost is $10 per "C" and can be painted in black or gold paint. The Spirit Club would love to see every paved driveway in Camden stamped to show support.
