BULLDOG CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The Camden Bulldog Club will award
$500.00 scholarships to two graduating seniors.
Applicants must have played a varsity sport for at
least one year at Camden High and must be enrolled in a four
or two year school in the fall semester 2010.

Today the Camden Bulldogs baseball team
takes the field to for the first time in the 2010 regular
season as we host the Red Foxes from Hartsville. Come out
and support Camden as they defend their 2009 Lower State
Championship. Game time is at 6:30 at Legion Field in
Camden.
CHS Girls Soccer Kicks off Pre-Season Schedule

 The
pre-season schedule for the CHS girls varsity soccer team was short
lived but successful: the one and only tune-up game came Thursday night
at Zemp Stadium as the defending region VI-AAA champs downed Sumter 4-0.
Junior India Robinson led the way scoring two goals and also an assist.
The Lady Dogs
open their regular season slate Tuesday night on the road at Andrew
Jackson. The first home game of the 2010 campaign is next Thursday night
as Camden hosts Lugoff-Elgin at Zemp Stadium.

Season Preview: CHS Girls Varsity Soccer

 After
winning the Region VI-AAA title a year ago, the CHS varsity girls soccer
team under head coach Stephen Sutusky will begin their 2010 campaign
with a scrimmage against Sumter at Zemp Stadium this Thursday night. The
match begins at 5:30 pm. Despite the loss of four seniors from last
year's squad, Coach Sutusky believes the team is poised to repeat as
region champs.

CHS Wrestlers Earn Post-Season Honors
2/23/10
 The
2009-2010 High School wrestling season is over and two CHS wrestlers
have qualified for the AAA State Wrestling Tournament. Jeremy Huggins
has made the tourney at 145 pounds and Brayan Mendez has qualified at
160 pounds. Huggins sports a 25-14 individual record this season and
Mendez is 33-8 overall. Both Huggins and Mendez are also region
champions in their classes as well.
Being named to the Region VI-AAA team in addition
to Huggins and Mendez were Travis Jordan, Markeis Miller, Nathan
Branham, DeAundre Rose, JeDarius Hayes, and Roland Matthews.

spring approaches, KM Video Productions of Camden is gearing
up for another year of broadcasting CHS Baseball on TruVista
Cable Channel 39. Broadcast and game info can be found by

football games including the 34th annual Camden Shrine Club

Paint a Camden "C" On Your
Driveway

to show your Bulldog Pride? Well the Bulldog Spirit Club has one way as
we approach Rivalry Week next week. The Spirit Club is painting Camden
"C's" on driveways. The cost is $10 per "C" and can be painted in black
or gold paint. The Spirit Club would love to see every paved driveway in
Camden stamped to show support.
