Camden 32 West Florence 27

The Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on Friday in a game best described as " a heavy weight prize fight" by WPUB sideline reporter Marc Jones. Dillon Morrow was 16 of 28 on the night for 377 yards passing. Alvonta Jenkins has 5 catches for 145 yards and DeVante Hayes had 177 yards on six catches, and was named the Sports Connection player of the game.

Camden has next week off as they prepare to play Lugoff-Elgin in two weeks.

CHS Volleyball Opens 2010 Season

In the season opener Wednesday at the Camden High School gym the Varsity and Junior Varsity Volleyball teams took on Cardinal Newman and Lugoff-Elgin.

The Varsity team defeated Cardinal Newman 27-25 and 25-21, and lost to LE 25-20 and 25-18. The JV team defeated Cardnial Newman 25-8 and 25-9 and downed LE 26-24, 15-25 and 15-13. Next up for the girls will be Sumter and Johnsonville in Sumter Thursday at 5:30. Coach Paige Wilson has asked us to inform the readers that there are a few Volleyball schedules floating around that are not completely updated. Bulldog Club Begins Fall Fundraising Campaign

The Camden Bulldog Club has started its annual membership drive. The Bulldog Club provides assistance to over 300 student-athletes representing 17 sports and 26 teams. Your membership contribution, as well as club fundraisers, are both instrumental in providing the funds to ensure that all athletic programs at Camden High School continue to excel.
